I'm definitely interested in this mod. Will be putting in the Dynomax ultra flow 17236 and the Injen CAI this week and/or weekend. I will be ready for the tune in the next few weeks.

If you're implying SCT, the 07-10s are a no-go. 05s and 06s only. Sorry

IIRC there is another mod for the ECU that you do?

ok thanks for clarifying. Looks like PCM/TCM only on 3.7 WK. this little motor that couldn't is neither efficient nor powerful...what were the design engineers thinking?

FlyinRyan- Is there any data to backup the TB mod? All I can find is that the 3.7 responds well...

Hypertech is available for the 07-10 3.7s, but it doesn't have custom tuning capability or anything like that.

I don't do dyno testing or anything like that, anyone who has promised to do dyno runs or track testing has either flaked out or weren't able to complete their runs successfully due to other issues.

I'm not much of a believer in dyno runs, except for finding the limits of spark for tuning.

Theres been some basic testing of some 3.7 manifold porting I did on an '07, but nothing 3.7 TB specific.

Theres more than enough people out there where IMHO, if there was any question if it worked, it would have been talked about by now. At this point I think there is enough testimonial where dyno testing would just be added expense for me. I think I've sold about 120-130 TBs in the last 18-24 months, 90% of them being past/present members on this website.

.
I wasnt interested in dyno data, its a small sluggish V6 engine getting a TB mod which to me doesnt warrant time on the dyno. Im more specifically looking for any "efficiency gains" before and after the TB mod.

Now if I were doing major engine improvements (supercharger, nos, turbo, cams, headers, etc) a dyno benchmark would be nice to have.

So Ryan, you've clearly done well with the TB mod and I always appreciate when a vendor takes the time to discuss their products in a forum like this. What's the cost, and lead time on the TB work?

This link should answer most of your questions. 1 MPG seems to be a common gain, some have done better than others, it is subject to driver style and to a lesser degree, other mods too.

If you have any further questions, please contact me at flyinryanporting@gmail.com, I'm trying not to spam up this thread. I have 1 07-10 3.7 core that I can probably hammer out before I move.
