Re: 3.7l performance love

Will do.

One problem I might run into is the EGR valve. I'm not sure where it is plumbed from the stock header or if it is even connected to the header . I cant get a good look from the top of the engine and i'm to lazy to get my fat ass under it right now.

And you would figure with a v6 under the hood there would be more room to work. I feel sorry for the v8 guys. lol

EDIT: Looks like the EGR is connected to the back of the cylinder head. SWEET!

Re: 3.7l performance love

Those are really sweet I'm also going to be tuned in to see your results. Since I was under mine this week replacing the electrical plate that houses the input speed sensors, and looked at that jumble of piping. Do you plan on doing other mods that will help the exhaust flow? That mess has to be pretty restrictive.

Re: 3.7l performance love

I plan on replacing the whole exhaust with a custom build. But that won't be until a little later on down the road.

Any other car i've tinkered with I have bought the catback first and done the headers as one of my last mods. But for the price I paid I couldn't resist.

Only thing I'm waiting for now is a break from the 100+* weather.

Re: 3.7l performance love

Those are sick!! So lucky man

Youre probably going to have the Y-pipe modded just because ours is different from the liberty. Mine aren't too jumbled. Just that the driver side has a huge bend in it. I'd do a 2-in 2-out on the muffler. Keep the pipes separate until the muffler. I've heard you get better pressure having one muffler that rather than 2 separate mufflers
