How many miles are on the SRT your looking at?

Re: 3.7l performance love

I plan to buy hypertech max energy econ power programmer for my 05 wk 3,7 v6 4x4. On hypertech site i read that this product is not recomended for premium octane fuel.I am from Europe and there is only 95 and 100 octane gasoline on market. Would that affect programmer efficiency? Does product need some kind of activation and maintenance (online?) and will that work outside USA? They also saying that programmer wil give beside the power boost an extra 2-6 mpg but i am suspicious on that info...

Re: 3.7l performance love

"The Max Energy E-CON offers “Regular Octane” tuning for both gas and E-85/Flex-Fuel vehicles. This program will deliver excellent power gains for cars or trucks factory capable of using more economical regular octane. The Max Energy E-CON is NOT recommended for vehicles using premium octane."

Re: 3.7l performance love

Definitely contact someone @ Hypertech. They would be able to give you a better answer.

And damn, 100 octane? Wish that was readily available for my other car. We have 110 but it's a thirty minute drive to get it and it can only be put into gas cans.

Move to my country,Bosnia, and you will be able to fill up tank without gas cans hahaha. It is funny that we here have something that is hard to get in USA. But,1 gallon of 95 oct fuel costs here $ 5,5 and $ 6 for 100 oct. How much is in USA?

Re: 3.7l performance love

'05s are supported. It's the '06s that are the issue here.

The octane rating system in Europe is different than in the USA....I encountered this when tuning MartyP's WJ in Scotland. The rule of thumb I use is that their gas is about 5 points higher (numerically only, not in octane) compared to ours. So, their 100 octane is equivalent to our 94/95 octane, 91 is our 87, etc.

I am tuning 2 '05 3.7 WKs with bolt-ons (intake, exhaust, TB) at the moment. Both are reporting a noticeable difference on 87 octane.

Well, guys i envy you for so much options on tuning Jeep's. Here in Europe there is litlle or nothing to find for gassoline models. In this part of the world Jeep is pretty exotic vehicle. I tryed to find K&N cai and find none.I looked online in allmost all Europe and nothing. I have relatives in USA so i asked them to buy and send part so they did. At the end i found myself paid for cai almost double price - part itself cost $245,$90 shipment,$130 customs here in Bosnia-total $465 ...But,i love my car so price is not an issue...

iam also located in europe. Jeep is funny here. I converted 10years ago to jeep/GC... now, after knowing all the guys and tricks + shopping in US, the jeep is the most cheapest wehicle for tunnig and maintenance in the whole europe

Iam also runnign LPG conversion. This make my jeepMPG cost to usual european standard of 1.6L volkswagen
