Re: 3.7l performance love

Just installed Hypertech max energy e con programmer - that thing is great! Extra horsepower is noticeable in all engine rpm's.Still need to test fuell consuption. On stock settings i gained from 21 to 23 mpg depending on driving speed. Now i have Hypertech and K&N cai and cant wait to take some long trip to see if there will be change in fuell consuption...

Re: 3.7l performance love

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but thought I'd get it a shot since everyone here has the 3.7l.

Can I use the Royal Purple differential fluid that has the "Modifier friction additive" in our QT1. Is this "Modifier friction additive" something completely different than the MOPAR additive that I read about that the QDII need.

Appreciate any info.

Thanks, yeah the QT1 don't need the MOPAR additive.

I did a little bit more research after i posted this and from what I've found is that the additive that Royal Purple puts in their oil would just be floating around there not really doing anything but wouldn't hurt it.

Re: 3.7l performance love

So I have read through this thread and did not see much about the harmonic damper and underdrive pulley mod. Have many people done this and gotten some performance increase out of this?

Re: 3.7l performance love

After one month testing my 3.7 with hypertech E-con programmator i can tell it is well spend money.Power increase came instantly and it is wery easy to feel that 25 hp more than stock.Fuell mileage also increased particularry in city driving - before 18-19l and now 16-17l for 100km.I also gain mpg's on highway but i "turned" them in more agressive driving so consuption remain like in stock 10,5l on 100km - but to get that value in stock setting i drove car with extra care with pressing gas pedal. Now for same result i drive more relaxed...
