Re: 3.7l performance love

Sweet. My goal is to make my Jeep into a total shop vehicle and get a supercharger put on it. I know people say its not worth it but I want to have a unique ride.

3.7? No one has a supercharger kit for it but id put money on being able to make a centrifugal work on it....providing you rebuild the engine first. Im wanting to go TT with about 10 psi in it.

well i know where you can get parts but they are 4.7 parts and I'm not 100% sure as of yet they will work (rods) but forged pistons are an easy swap over bro.

Re: 3.7l performance love

That sounds not so bad. Well if you do turbo before I do supercharger I'll go your route.

I did find a single turbo kit for the wrangler that I feel can easily be adapted. but the biggest issue I find would be getting someone to tune it on a dyno.

Re: 3.7l performance love

Would have to look for someone to tune it. That may be the biggest cost.

nah bro, the rebuild would be as well as the turbo kit. at least parts wise, I do all my own work. that said I don't have the capability to custom tune/data log.

Ive also toyed with the idea of a high compression all motor setup with like a 10.x:1 comp or even a 11.x:1 ratio

True. It will be worth it in the long run.

Re: 3.7l performance love

Maybe finding one from a junk yard would work.

maybe, I just like new lol. and if I do that I need an 08 or newer engine. I don't feel like swapping pcm's and cam tone rings and crank reluctor's. 08+ would be a direct swap... a new/ rebuilt 3.7 is 3,800$
