I tried the Spectre route, but Pep Boys didn't have the right parts. K&N was just under $275. All I really need is like 10-14 inches of tube, with an elbow, and a reducer to go from CAI to TB. I could always CF wrap it, but just plain black would be ok, too. I just don't want it to look cheesy.

I thought of doing of the same thing honestly instead of spending all that money for a new one

I just dropped almost 300 clams. I don't want to do it again
I've seen one on YouTube made of PVC. I still have the piece that used to connect or the reso. I just need a reducer. I was wrong earlier. The ID of the CAI is 3 5/8" (maybe 3.75?), but I'm not sure the OD of the TB. The last time I cleaned it, I measured it and wrote it down somewhere in my phone, but I can't find it...

I was just thinking. You could have a good exhaust shop fab you up one for fairly cheap. In the very least the part you would need to 86 the reso.
