You don't *have* to, but most of it's gonna drain out anyway (from the lower hose). So as long as you've got most of it out, you may well do it.

Did anyone get this and install it in their 3.7L WK? I want to take the plunge as I am in the middle of my flush job but want to confirm it's worth it and if there is noticeable improvement.

BTW I have a cat back Magnaflow, K&N CAI, Fastman TB this week, Airaid TB spacer this week, and Hyperteck tuner on the way. This termo was my last mod that I would take on.

Nice mod list bro but that spacer does nothing on our motors. To answer your question tho, the t-stat will open sooner at a lower temperature over stock. This allows a cooler running engine and is more consistent to tune.

Again tho, nice list of mods. You should be able to hang with me for a little while

Absolutely Jeff !

I may get it but really wanted to hear from folks that had experience installing it. I may give it a shot. I don't want to screw anything up on the motor. A lot of talk that our engines don't benefit from the thermostat change and can mess it up.
