Hey guys i recently purchased a used AFE Stage 2 from one of our fellow JG members... i installed it last night, check it out!!

Install time SHOULD be 30 - 45 minutes... without directions 1-2 hours and a few phone calls ;)

The kit mounted to the bottom portion of the stock air filter box... it was kind of a bitch at first to line up but once i got it, everything fit nice and snug. The O2 sensor hose had to be shortened to fit the new location, closer to the fire wall. Other than that install was pretty simple and smooth.

End pics were taken at night so sorry for the poor quality... thanks Jacob for your help, really saved me a ton of frustration!!

I will be seeing how this affects my mpg's and if i notice any power gains... but for now, jeep kinda sounds cool

Ants, i believe there are only two CAI kits made for the 4.7... K&N and AFE. I think the K&N is slightly better performance but you also pay close to $400 for it, def not worth the $$ for me... CAI's dont really do that much at the end of the day.

thanks bud!! maybe you can throw a pic of the K&N and we can have a thread that compares the two. There is a lot of people on here with our motors that want a CAI and are always asking for comparisons.
