Re: 4.7 V8 Gibson Cat Back

Cant say i have ever seen that done before. I want to cut my tip off (not jewish thing) and have welded back on straight. Not a fan of the angled down tip.

Re: 4.7 V8 Gibson Cat Back

ok so i had this thing installed today... i got a good deal on the system and i dont have a cutter so i bit the bullet and paid 100 bucks for a muffler shop to do it.

SO... this thing is loud... lol

i dont know what Lucas J is talking about, but MAN ... i turned my key and this Jeep ROARS. sounds really good sounds really beefy... maybe its because of all the other stuff i have.

To be honest im hoping this thing gets toned down a bit once it gets broken in... the 3" pipes MAKE A DIFFERENCE... the magnaflow system only has 2.75" pipes, these things are FAT.

I had the tip installed and will be powdercoating it black later...

vids w/sound clips to come...

Re: 4.7 V8 Gibson Cat Back

Looks and sounds just about perfect. Over time you'll get used to it and it won't sound as loud to you. Also the sound will change a little over time, but not much.

Sounds awesome.

Exhausts are like lifts and lights. once you have one you want more.

Maybe its just me, yours sounds louder and I have the SC and CAI too.

Don't get me wrong, I love mine and wouldn't want any other exhaust.

Enjoy
