from one mech to another, the manifolds on the driverside are easiest to access from under the truck with the starter removed...had to do that when installing headers on my 3.7

just clarifying, the 4.7 doesn't have lifters as it is not a pushrod engine. because of the SOCH design it has, instead, lash adjusters that act in a way, like a lifter. they are in the head, unlike lifters which are in the block. hope this helps
