Re: 5.7 Hemi exhaust

Theres not many here that are from that region. Many NYC/LI guys but thats about it

Go with the Magnaflow, it will likely drone less. Disregard if you plan on getting Diablo or Superchips and you can turn MDS off

Re: 5.7 Hemi exhaust

I planned on superchips, can i do that with magnaflow ? what did you mean about the mds, do i have to turn it off ?, whats the magnaflow is it loud/obnoxious ? im a volunteer firefighter and cant be too obnoxious but i still want a more agressive sound

Re: 5.7 Hemi exhaust

Mds is the cylinder deactivation system for our rides. Most exhausts sound bad when mds kicks in. I live I Dutchess county and have a Gibson exhaust and love it. You could come up here if you ever wanted to listen to it. I also have a superchips tuner that im thinking of selling. Let me know if your interested. I would want $250 for it, that's what I paid for it used and would just be looking for my money back (I actually paid $255).

Go with either Magnaflow or Gibson. Flowmaster has to much drone IMO. Personally I have the Gibson and I love but at times I wish it was a little louder. However I have zero drone even with my MDS on.

Re: 5.7 Hemi exhaust

my gibson sounds great.....it all sounds like exhaust to me ......its up to you ,i would be interested in seeing whos gains are actually better though....in my honest opinion i could care less what mine sounds like as long as its performing better, at least to some degree....
