That may be, but his is doing it in half the distance. I think temperature plays a role in the pcv sticking more when its cold out. At least till the engine is warmed up.

I empty mine every 500 miles in winter, and it is more than half filled In warm weather it is thicker, black foul smelling hydrocarbons, in the winter it is runny clearer liquid, likely condensate, with some mayo in the bottom, It is normal and no bid deal, and better to catch it and dump than running it through the motor.
