I don't know if there is a "horsepower rating" on the pistons, but I do know that they are fairly weak due to the top ring land being too close to the piston top. This is why you can't get away with running a lot of boost with forced induction, or a very big shot of nitrous oxide. Without increasing compression pressure too much, you could pretty easily get somewhat over 500 horsepower out of a 5.7 engine though.....heads/valves, cam, exhaust, throttle body, etc., without damaging with the rotating assembly.
