AirAid intake for the 3.7L - part #310-205

Does anyone have this intake installed on their 3.7L?

http://www.airaid.com/ProductDetail....ductID=310-205

The intake tube goes all the way up to the throttle body, replacing the current air resonator. I, like alot of you, have the K&N which only replaces some of the tube. Has any installed this kit and have any input on it?

Also it says it only fits 2005-2007. Did anything in the engine bay change on the 08+ models that would prevent this from fitting?

Scott any chance you can point me to pics or links showing the difference between the coolant tanks on 05-07 versus 08+?

Re: AirAid intake for the 3.7L - part #310-205

I had the airaid on my 08. It fits fine. But I did not prefer the fit over the throttle body. There was a significant downsize from the tube to the throttle body and it made for a poor fit.

Ya they do but look at the shitty heat shield for the filter? You just bought a hot air intake, congrats!

For the Airaid system, would it be more efficient to take out the rest of the stock air box? In the K&N intake instructions they tell you to, but it is not mentioned in the Airaid. Would you get more air that way?
