Had to quote you but no the 5.7 system will not work on the 4.7 and there are no headers available for the 4.7 unless you drive a right hand drive and order them from Australia and they only fit the WJ.

Now why wouldnt a company want to capitalize on this OBVIOUS Profit.. look at us here.. we are a select few who want to mod jeeps.. and i bet we are in the 1%.. why wouldnt JBA or Gibson want to sit down at a damn computer.. and figure it out !?!? they have them for 4.7 Dakota.. how hard would it be to get them to fit the WK?? Look at the 5.7 it's a whole liter larger and still has headers built to fit it.. why because it's NOT a HEMI they figure it aint worth their time.. BS!!

Re: best exhaust for the money

This fitment is very tight! Have you seen a set of 4.7 exhaust manifolds? They are pretty free flowing as is. There was one company that made them but they trashed the design before production because the cost was too high for them. I agree, JBA or someone needs to make up a set just to test the waters. I think they would be surprised by the response of people wanting to buy them.

they will work on a wk, ive seen it done. the exhaust flange is the same across the board at the connection after the cats. the exhaust hangers are the same also the only difference between a 4.7 and 5.7 system is the fact that the 5.7 has 3 inch piping (AFTERMARKET) and the 4.7 has 2.5 inch piping. ive ran a 4.7 cat back on my 3.7 in the past. and I should clear this up im talking about the WK/WH platform

my 3.7 header are JBA. it is doable but space is very tight, even on the 3.7 WK. you could order headers for a 4.7 Dakota around the same year as your jeep and I bet they bolt right on with little issue
