I really like magnaflow, I've been happy with them. But the flow master does sound great

From those 2 sounds that I posted, which do you think has produces more drone on the highway or in other areas...the magnaflow or the flowmaster 50 delta?

I hear a lot that the flow master really drone, but I don't have first hand experience with that, also if your worried about drone just get a universal resonator and have it welded on before the tip that will greatly reduce drone IMO

Re: best exhaust for the money

Flowmasters sounds great cruising but drone really bad on the freeway. I was running flowmaster super 44 without the main cat on my 4.7 and it droned unbearably on the freeway.

WOW!!! I am impressed and I wanted FLOWMASTER from the get-go... I had a FlowMaster Cat-Back on my 05 Caddy Esky and she turned heads.. now.. I can get the same Manufacturer for my 07 WK Limited 4.7 .. HECK YES !!! Just because she's a smaller V-8 doesn't mean she needs to SOUND smaller.. LOL.. 6.0 vs. 4.7 BUT !! The 4.7 has to move less weight so hmmm maybe in the end.. when I am done tinkering.. maybe then.. she will be just as Powerful as SVETLANA (My Esky)

true, true, she needs to sound good. as much as ive tinkered on mine ive beaten 4.7, 5.3/5.7 gm's and a 1st gen hemi ram. the 4.7 and hemi will beat me off the line but in top end i always win....

my lil ole 3.7 just got true duals...

Re: best exhaust for the money

So no one on this forum has attempted at trying to shove 4.7 headers in their WK ??!! It just can't be impossible it just CAN'T ... Something has to be done.. What about custom made ones what if I went to a costume shop would that be benificial or would I just be wasting my money ...

Re: best exhaust for the money

I know on my 99 4.7 WJ it's not worth the money at a custom shop for one off headers since the stock manifolds are pretty dang good. Just do a little port work on the stock manifolds and you should be good.

He could try that but I'm 80% sure they wont work. Like I said i looked into all this for my WJ 4.7, it might be different on the WK
