Well if its tight its not the end of the world.. the reason I say this is because I know NOTHING about mechanics .. im trying to learn.. I want POWER .. when I push that pedal I want instant response not a slow progression .. then a launch. and from what I have learned so far is that the headers will improve the way a vehicle shits out its waste .. also what I have learned if you can make it breathe and shit better than it performs better !! And.. ok .. so the headers are the start of the system.. its like they're the large intestine.. the cat then becomes the small intestine.. the muffler is the colon and the tailpipe is well.. the chocolate starfish lol.. so if you improve the whole system instead.of just like.. fixing the "colon" then in essence everything should flow better?? Am I right in my thinking ??

Re: best exhaust for the money

Which cat back exhaust system would best fit my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 Laredo: based on the following:

1) Not rust, especially where I live, there is a lot of snow in the winter..
2) Provide the least drone noise?
3) Best Acceleration if any?
4) Best MPG if any?

Borla, Magnaflow or the Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow?

I think there is no Borla for a 4.7 is there?

Re: best exhaust for the money

well thats just my opinion on it but i have the v6, my last setup sounded like a SBC 350 at idle but when wound out it was to tinny like a rice burner. Keep in mind i dont have cats in my mid pipes no more

Re: best exhaust for the money

Well I don't want an exhaust system that's going to wake my neighbors every time I come home or leave...nothing too noisy, I'm not 15-25yrs old, I'm 39...
