Bully Dog prog for 08-09 4.7?

Looking at Bully Dog triple dog prog. for 08-09 jeep 4.7 at Newlevel motorsport web site. Part# 40410 for $399.99. How would this compare to Superchips? Has anybody used this? This one also works on 2010 hemi.

Do they have any Dyno results on it?

Bullydog CLAIM some ridiculous numbers for a tuner only. I want to say they post up like a 45 HP gain. I can tell you i find that very hard to believe..............

All of the 08+ tuners do and I can tell you that there is some validity to it. The 08+ motor is pretty heavily detuned.

But 40+hp though? Use to be that the only way you could get that much power from a tuner was with a Diesel engine. I just can't fathom that Chrysler would leave that much power on the table.

A friend of mine with a '08 4.7 Ram was running 14.3s in a 4x2 4.7 Ram with 3.92s, intake, tune, cutout and a good set of tires. He was running mid-high 15's stock w/3.55s. They are probably somewhat exaggerated but they really come alive.

You better believe that most of these engines are far from uncorked.

Holy crap! Seems to me that this engine could be one of the best factory "sleepers" out there if cams ever get made for it Hell, at only 287 cu inches, with 305hp it's volmetric efficiency is nearly 106%

I don't know the specs, but I would suspect that cams are not mandatory to make big power. The 2nd gen 4.7 is a real winner of a motor.
