Catalytic Converter 2006 5.7

Seems my passenger side cat took a crap, and the stealership will not warranty, says there is a dent in in, I am pissed. Jeep only has 42,000 miles on it.

Where is a good place to get after market cats, or good high flow ones? I am not paying the dealer $1900 to fix, they are crazy.

Thanks
Bob

I usually buy cats at Advance Auto Parts...they're running a sale right now (and have coupon codes) so you can score them for under $100 shipped easily, or pick it up locally if you have one nearby. Just make sure you find one with the correct ID/OD and length for your application.

I don't happen to know as I've had no reason to mess with my exhaust, but I'm sure someone will chime in before too long.

You don't need it, just go to advance auto and enter catalytic and it will prompt you for your year, make, model, engine, etc.

Or try AutoAnything | Auto Accessories & Aftermarket Parts | Truck Accessories & Car Accessories - Floor Mats, Tonneau Covers & Car Covers where the prices may be similar.

They range from under $100 for flowmaster, etc. up to a few hundred for pricier higher performance/efficiency one.

Magnaflow would make the proper replacements, whether you live in one of the 49 states or in California. Check out the Magnaflow web site for the correct part number. They'll have direct-fit and weld-on. The direct fit will likely be the whole assembly with both converters so the weld-on universal converter will be far less expensive.
