Catch Can

So I came across a WK2 BT Catch Can so I picked it up and was going to install it on my WK but while looking on BT's website i noticed different part numbers for the WK's and the WK2's whats the difference? Im pretty sure it doesn't make a difference as both would work identically. But just wanted to confirm!

Re: Catch Can

As long as its routed correctly I don't see why it wouldn't work other than maybe how it mounts. I just recently ordered a catch can for my 3.7, cant wait to get state side and install it.

Why would you install a catch can on a 3.7L? I wasn't aware that the 3.7L had an inefficient PCV system, which is the reason why it's needed on the HEMI.

I noticed a small amount of oil in the intake manifold from the last time I pulled it. So its getting a oil catch can and a new pcv valve. O nly has 68k miles on it.

Let me elaborate a little more. Around 48k miles I pulled the manifold to paint it the silver color. Then it only had kinda a heavy residue. When I pulled it at 64k, there was oil pudding at the back of the manifold and oil residue down the back four intake runners on the heads. Especially the two closest to the pcv. The pcv tube had a film in it. I know I got a bad o2 sensor but I also had a feeling that its not the onlh reason it felt slighty low on power up top. So new pcv and a catch can. Im also gonna order new sensors all around.
