Re: Catch can efficiency

One should take that catch can pour it in a empty quart of oil and see what you get..how much the cans are narrow and taller it would be interesting,

Well I'll do it. I'm getting a billet tech can (the first on a 3.7) with the clear bottom. I'll test it for ya and see how much I get with my normal driving habits

Re: Catch can efficiency

Where does one install it?

The Billet Tech catch can has a self-evident mounting point...lots of photos and videos etc. Very nice.

But I was wondering if anyone with a NON-BT can users could share their mounting concepts with me (us). Where did you stick it?

Yeah yeah yeah....I know...anything under $120 is OBVIOUSLY cheap, inferior, pathetic, unamerican, waste of money, ugly, idiotic...blah blah blah...but I know a guy who might be curious where he would mount such a devils-spawn if he needed to.

Photos would be helpful.

...to that guy.

THX

I currently have a mishimoto can but it's leaking. That makes the second one. Mines mounted on the strut brace..

Re: Catch can efficiency

Her is how I mounted the Moroso catch can on my Jeep. I had to make a bracket with hardware from HD.

Re: Catch can efficiency

I know this post is a bit older but I'm looking at buying one of these for my wife's Jeep. On the BT website they don't have anything for the 5.7 hemi.. do I buy the one for the 6.1?

hmm, that is excessive blowby, much more than normal. I drive with a heavy foot and my BT CC collects at most 1 ounce per oil change intervals, at 6k miles. and have 120k on the motor. Only in winter does it need to be emptied more often, every 6 weeks or so, when it fills quickly with condensate.
