Re: cold air intake

if you have more air flow through the pipe and air filter, wouldnt you need to increase the fuel amount at the same time to get the horsepower that some people claim? or does the computer pick up on more air flow and adjust for more fuel by itself?

Re: cold air intake

Someone else on here did a PVC with header wrap: that's prob the direction I would go to cover it and separate heat.

Re: cold air intake

I plan to keep my K&N but make an elbow to delete the Res box out of PVC.

Re: cold air intake

Well, With my 3.7L, K&N says +15hp.. So I can only assume removing the res box would only help.

It'll help a lot. Especially when combining an exhaust. Less resistance and more flow.

Re: cold air intake

I made mine with alloy piping and silcone elbows. Works perfectly, looks great and cost a fraction of the price.
