I previously had a Volant system installed, but my inlet temps were running pretty hot. The Volant filter box looks like it's a closed system, but it's not. It's open to the engine bay air much more than the little scoop over the headlight.
What I did was to use the factory filter box with a K&N fliter, with the Volant tube running to the TB. I don't get the full sound of the Volant but my charge air is 20 cooler. It's performance I'm looking for anyway, not the sound of air rushing through a tube.
If you're interested, Scepter also makes a whole line of tubes and fittings to make whatever type CAI system you can dream up!

Which model fits the 2010 limited 5.7? I found a place that says it'll fit the 2009 but i don't want to purchase it if I'm going to have fitment issues.

You can try calling them, but this stuff is for custom designed systems. Depending on what you would use as a filter box, you would take measurements from the TB to the inlet, and order parts that would work for you.
