Re: Cold Air Intake advice

From what I've been reading the Volant needs a longer breather tube to fit, which isn't a huge deal.

Boy, I'm so confused I don't know what to get. Too many options to choose from.

Re: Cold Air Intake advice

Get the Modern Muscle 85 mm TB instead. For just a little more $, it is a far better upgrade and you can transfer it to any future 5.7, 6.1 or 6.4 hemi.

Yes it was a direct bolt in except for the hose. I had to run down to PepBoys to get one that was 2' long. No big deal! It was less than $5.

Thanks for your help Omelet, exactly the answer I was looking for.

Looks like I'm ordering the intake, throttle body and predator tune once my refund check comes in. So much for trying to save the money.

No problem bud!

Just look at it as an investment into the Jeep for your daily enjoyment

Sounds like your Jeep will be breathing very nicely here soon. Are you planning an exhaust too?

Yes I am, I decided I'll work front to back and get the small stuff out of the way first. I'm going to shoot for end of the summer/early fall for the exhaust, financially it's better to wait till then.

I'll post pictures of progress as I go along.

Appreciate the help. I enjoyed reading through Your build thread on Jeepforum. It inspired me to start modding earlier then I wanted to haha.

I have the AFE Stage 2 on my 2010 5.7 - love the sound it makes! The other advantage with the AFE is you can get the high-flow dry filter that can be washed and doesn't require oiling.
