Re: Dealer PCM flash costs $$ !?

Pretty much what everyone else has said. $60 is a reasonable price. As maxst said some dealers get $100 plus. It is just an update and the Diablosport Tuner will allow you to update to the latest CALID flash files for both the PCM and TCM. When I bought my 06 WK and DS tuner, I found there were 4 updates, all (I think) of which addressed TSB's. It did make everythiing current and got rid of some of the "little glitches" I was having at first. My dealer wanted $100, so I figured I bought the DS tuner for $100 discount, plus now have the ability to make other adjustments, clear codes, and continue to keep the PCM/TCM current.

they charge an hour of labor to update your PCM, while your at it, tell them to flash and update your TCM and FCM and everything else

Here's the Diablosport support documents - Predator instructions are on the bottom.

Here's the Trinity DCX update instructions.

All you need is the AC adapter and serial/usb connector for the device.

It was pretty easy and took me 10-15 minutes to figure out.

Re: Dealer PCM flash costs $$ !?

$60 is a good price. Trust me I called around to almost every Jeep dealer here on LI and heard everything from $60 up to $200 for a re-program for larger tires & PCM update.

Id say go with that dealer.

Re: Dealer PCM flash costs $$ !?

Keep in mind that if you have a custom tune and you flash the PCM from the dealer or via diablo....you will need your custom tune updated for thew new CALID before you can use it again. Just something to keep in mind, especially if your Jeep can't run on the stock tune (large cams, strokers, FI, etc).
