Re: EGR notch on SRT8 manifolds

I just figured I'd get a CMR from Diablo to shut the rear o2 sensors off... because after I get done the exhaust its a crap shoot if the magnaflow mids won't throw a code. Better to have it than not, don't want the computer going crazy trying to recalibrate.

As for the EGR, I'd rather keep it, since the benefits of lower internal temps, better fuel economy, etc. outweigh paying 60 bucks for a new one every 4-5 years. I just don't want to make the wrong decision notch the manifold.... because there is no going back.

Jeepgcoman is like the godfather of the Jeep Forum, thanks both of you.

Shutting them off even through a CMR tune will make you fail emissions because the OBD will report them as not ready. Also the rear 02's do not calibrate anything they are purely there to see if your cats are working for emissions. I had issues with my passenger side downstream and I did the sparkplug anti fouler trick and it worked like a charm
