You didn't actually lose low end torque, but have instead felt more power up top. Depending on the exhaust setup will depend on how much you "feel a loss" of torque. The other possibility is that your mods/tune may have shifted your power band to a higher rpm.

Re: Fastman TB for 09 4.7?

Thanks I am going to put one on. My Gen 2 4.7 runs goods now especially up top. What kind of exhaust set up would you have a loss in torque? I was thinking of added a large magnaflow muffler but I just don't want to add sound. The flowmaster I had on my 99 4.7 got old!

Well I wouldn't worry about losing power with a cat back, but it witll shift the power band some. You would have to do a setup as extreme as mine to potentially loose low end. But with my setup it has never pulled harder from 3k to redline

2Sh3a is on a distinguished road
I've got a Fastmans TB on my 05 4.7 and couldn't be happier. Paired it with a K&N intake which some people don't like but I'm diggin it. Bumped me up to 24mpg highway and sounds pretty mean even without any exhaust upgrades.
