Gas milage

So just got an oil change for my 3.7 05 and notice I'm getting 15mpg.. seemed higher.. any solution to improving gas mileage.. and also whats a good air filter to replace ? Thanks

Re: Gas milage

Did you use synthetic oil, is it colder than it was, or have you been mainly in town driving stoplight to stoplight.

I used 5/30 mobile 1 syn and I've been traveling a lot in wyoming doing cell tower sites.. been pretty cold in wyoming

Re: Gas milage

Mine was usually around 16-17 lately it's been 13-14 since the cold, and snow. Check your air pressure also right now mine are lower for snow travel when I keep them at 33 you can even feel it roll easier. If you're doing highway it should surely be higher. I've heard of quite a few guys including myself that use that oil it should be fine.

Winter blend gas will cause you to lose 1-2 mpg.
