HELP! Can't pass smog because of BWOODY intake system!?

Hey guys, noob here - first time post!

So, I bought my 2006 Grand Cherokee Limited, 5.7 Hemi 4x4 back in December. I live in San Diego, CA. Right away, I wanted the badass bwoody 4" system I kept reading about. So I tore out the old system, and put in the new goods from bwoody. I put all the old parts in the corner and went about my day. Well, I haven't gotten it smogged yet, and my roommate accidentally threw away all the old parts to the stock intake (guess it looked like junk) - and now I can't pass smog. Anyone have this problem?

They said I have to have a special smog emissions sticker saying it is legal to have on the road, and not just an off-road part. Guess bwoody doesn't make such a sticker, and now I don't know what to do.

So, can anyone GET me a sticker - or I think I need to go back to the old intake system. Soooo, does anyone have a stock intake system I can borrow for the weekend in San Diego? Or I can pay to have someone ship me one? I will obviously return it, just need to pass smog, then I can put my BWOODY one back on.

Please please please let me know if anyone can help me or if anyone has any smart ideas to get this problem to "go away" - thanks guys!

It has a K&N Filter of course, but the pipe itself is bwoody. Think if i buy a K&N system that comes with that stoopid sticker, and put it on my jeep, it will pull? Or do the smog people look up the system and compare its specs? Seriously, CA sucks when it comes to this shit.

My BWOODY 4" system is now for sale! Anyone interested here before i list it on the classifieds? $300 all together and you can have it... perfect condition, only used for 6 weeks. Just bought the FIPK intake system - that comes with a CARB EO sticker... sucks but the bwoody is seriously awesome! Wish i could keep it.

Re: HELP! Can't pass smog because of BWOODY intake system!?

If the Bwoody intake had a K&N filter why not just get a K&N sticker? Hell, I might have been willing to send you my sticker.

Next time, just buy a K&N.
