ha almost replied before I saw everyone else. Thanks guys!

I think i was the first SRT owner to post in the thread, so it makes sense why you wondered how a 5.7 was beating those cars.

Wait until I put my supercharger on it... then she'll be low 11's!!

Definitely post some video of that! We had my uncle's ZR1 at the track and saw a supercharged SRT, it was pretty sweet

Not that I could compete with an SRT but it funny as hell to see the faces on folks I dust (either because I can dust them or they didn't think they had to try that hard) when they see a lifted WK blow their doors off.

I've never used a superchip before, you can run the 91 Tube and recalibrate for larger tires, right?

I like when I get someone riding with me and I take off from a stop...a little whiplash never killed anyone, right?

I dunno if i have any good vids.. ha im the "slow" one in the group of SRT Jeep guys i hang with. Most are forced induction.. ha!

The whiplash is fun tho. I love looking at passengers right after they say "how fast can it be? its just a jeep......." ha then the 6.1L his 6K RPM and they shut up.

Yes you can run a 91 tune and recalibrate for larger tires. Just remember if you run the 91 tune you need to run 91 or higher octane fuel. I run 93 on the 91tune and 89 on the 87 tune. Don't waste you time with the fuel saver tune. It's garbage.

Haha. Fuel saver....I don't expect this thing to ever be fuel efficient. Not worried about that. Thanks for the info on the chip.

I was in Tapatalk and it doesn't show sigs. SRTs roll the hell out for sure.

Since this a a hemi brag post, my previous car was a 04 GTO, pontiac. The LS1 5.7 is a great motor. Infact, it I'd argue it is technically better the 5.7 hemi. However, unless you actually watched the speedo to see how fast you were going, it's personality was underwhelming when left stock. It sounded and felt like a sewing machine. The Hemi on the other hand is a very fun motor to drive and has a bit of a kick about 3500+ rpm's. Having driven two of the greatest American (Canadian?) engines ever made, and I'd be happy with either, I'd take the Hemi if I had to choose.

Now I haven't "raced" anyone on the street, but nothing with 4 wheels has passed me in traffic unless I let them.
