Re: How quick is your N/A 5.7 ?

Well, I finally got to the track last nite.
I Just got my predator on thurs, loaded the 91 tune with slightly higher rev limiter and +17%throttle "booster" it feels GREAT on the street and even squalls the tires a little.
On my 1st run I SPANKED a '05-09 mustang (dont know whats in it but it had custom exhaust) I was stoked ..............till i got the time slip....15.7069 @87.99
I messed with the DS a bit but only got it down to 15.5080 @89.32 I'm cranky about that 'cause it wouldnt pull out-the-gate..... at all my best 60' was 2.35!

I just corrected it on dragtimes to a 14.829 @ 93.47 Thats better, but I really thought it would be faster, being it seems stock should be low 15's I've seen lots of low 14 sec runs with "just a cai & tune" Were those corrected or actual times?

I have a cai, DS,& a vortex muffler(with res for a few more days) and i keep it clean (TB etc) I'll be checking on a CMR this week for sure, but can that extra tuning make THAT big of a difference?

Re: How quick is your N/A 5.7 ?

i've never been to the track so my times aren't official. i've use the gtech-pro and it's showed 1/4 mile 14.56 sec and 0-60mph at 5.43 sec. Every vehicle can be slightly different right from the assembly plant. another member on here had his 2010 srt8 run like a 4.3 or 4.4 0-60mph. i think it was stock then.

Tuning does make a big difference! Even if you only add 10-15 hp, when you add that through the majority of the rpm range, not just at high rpm,you have a vehicle that will perform better than expected.

Re: How quick is your N/A 5.7 ?

My will be Cammed soon lol. So Hopefully that will easily get me into the 13's. I'm guessing I'm right at mid 14's maybe low 14's. Make sure you update your Diablo Sport with their latest Version!
