You should get the Torque app and monitor it for yourself to see what's happening when you get the warning light.

Yeah 4.7 and 5.7 use the 545.

And making sure the cooler hoses [if fitted] aren't clogged, etc. can work wonders as well.

Id say the temp sensor and not the tcm.
