Re: K&N CAI Best Deal?

yes the 63 is solid

apparently the 57 is also plastic and looks to be the same exact thing is the 63

Re: K&N CAI Best Deal?

the 57 is street legal in all states, and the 63 is for off road use only.

from the k&n website for the 63

"This intake system is not legal for street use in the following states:

Arizona, California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington"

Re: K&N CAI Best Deal?

I have the 77 series. The metal tube. As far as temperature, there won't be any harm to performance that would be humanly noticeable. It's just personal preference.
