The stock oil pump is more than adequate, but if you want a little better, just put a 6.1 pump in it. While you have it apart, put a 6.1 timing chain tensioner in it too. They have 4 tensioner springs instead of the 2 on the 5.7. What are you planning to do to it? Depending on what you're going to do would determine if you should replace the lifters. In any case, the intake manifold and heads have to come off to change them.
