It is a stock OEM TB that is CNC ported so you just remove the old one and bolt on the new, then disconnect the neg battery terminal for a while to reset the ECU.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I just read it wrong. Thinking of getting one.

Re: MM 85 mm ported TB results

Great info!!! I think I will do the same. Quick question though. Where did you purchase the CC from and for how much? And second, can you explain the foam part again??? I'm new lol.

Re: MM 85 mm ported TB results

Ok, so I found my answer about the 85 vs 87 mm and I'll go with 85mm to avoid tuning (for now).

My next question is this: I bought this 09 WK 5.7L with the K&N 77 Series CAI already installed. Their site says this throttle body works with the stock intake. I assume it will still work with the K&N, right? Any pro's/con's about having them both?

Edit: Spelling

Would the speedchips tuner be suitable for the 87 or would you need something like the diablosport?

Re: MM 85 mm ported TB results

You'd be safer on the stock map...but a custom tune via SCT or Diablo CMR would be best in any case.

How do you know if you need to replace the MAP sensor and how much is it?
