Re: My 6.4L 392 Hemi Stroker is ALIVE!!

Looks, and sounds, amazing. I'm a fan of keeping it stock appearing under the hood, you my friend, have a sleeper. I do agree with chopping the exhaust tips and dumping it behind the hitch, especially if you plan on using a hitch mount winch in the future.

Re: My 6.4L 392 Hemi Stroker is ALIVE!!

Im all for the sleeper on the outside, but i'd like to have something to show for all this $$$ (aside from 4 white smoking tires! ) I think i'll leave the outside alone but may play with the engine cover, no one will really even see it unless i pop the hood

Re: My 6.4L 392 Hemi Stroker is ALIVE!!

Thanks! I just realized it's actually running just fine on the stock tune. The Diablo hasnt even arrived yet. I can't believe there's no engine lights or anything. They are ordering a bunch of predators all at once to get a discount, anyone need one?! They should be here late next week. Maybe i can get it on the dyno before Christmas

Re: My 6.4L 392 Hemi Stroker is ALIVE!!

Thats sick dude. You need to get a new HEMI Badge now since its not a 5.7 any more. maybe whent he 2011 SRT comes out with the 6.4 you can get one of them.

Honestly, your going to want the Trailer hitch if your not planning on an SRT clone and lowering it. I think it looks cool like it is and i would leave the trailer hitch and the exhaust tips.

Another idea is to cut off the pipes after the resonators and re route the pipes to the corners like a pickup truck or straight out the back. It would take a good exhaust shop and some bending but it would look cool.

Re: My 6.4L 392 Hemi Stroker is ALIVE!!

In a effort to be a little different, i actually thought about cutting holes into the bumper, either at the rear or the sides and use a flange type system like the thru hull exhaust on boats. Obviously clearance would have to be pretty precise to keep from melting the bumper but could look cool if done properly. Not sure what type of infrastructure is behind the bumper though if this is even possible.

Not the dual tip like this pic, but ya get the idea. 2) singles, one on each side of the jeep

I agree i'd run 2 pipes at opposite corners like you see on a lot of trucks and on most sports cars like mustangs. You could run them below the bumper or just cut 2 small notches in the bottom like you see on stangs to have them come out at. I think that would look pretty cool and let you keep the hitch.

I was thinking like this. I'd throw some magnaflows or borla's on it too, that thing would roar. =D
