Oh alright, well I'm sure that's nice. It's not going to sound anything like mine then. I would still love to here that motor though.

What kind of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times your guys running.

Sounds great, what kind of muffler are you using. I'm planning on using magnaflow 40 series.

Its the borla kit one for the 05 hemi. Im switching to a mangaflow dual in and single out or maybe dual out 3 in both sides. I would stick to borla but they dont have 3 in dual in mufflers.

I like the sound of the Borla, deep mellow sound.

But i would go for a dual in/dual out since you want to go for duals. 3 in all the way back to the tips or atleast to the muffler. Making a good 3 in Y pipe is hard in the limited space we have.

Re: OBX Long Tube header 2007 5.7 Install

I was thinking dual in/dual out would be the easiest, unless there's a good way to run the pipe down both sides of the vehicle.

I know it's going to be pretty tight under there with 3in pipe.

Dual in dual out would probably be the easiest. Where you are putting the tips is the biggest problem i personally think. Srt bumpers have a smaller cutout which fit 2 4 in or even 5 in tips nicely.. if you remove the hitch on our jeeps then your with a 15in gap give or take. So even with two 5 in tips it still wouldnt look right really. Could go quad but dont know if that is the right look for the jeeps.

I'm going to be building a custom rear bumper that will have holes for the tips. Right now I'm just going to cut holes in the bumpers for the tips.
