Re: Official post your mpg's.

I average 10 to 13 depending on driving conditions. If im lucky i see 17-18 highway. 05 4.7L intake plenum and k&n panel filter and exhaust are only mods.

The 4.7 in any jeep/dodge product will always suck on gas. Its a well built but very inefficient prehistoric engine that is hard to maintain city driving above 15 mpg.

Re: Official post your mpg's.

My 2010 3.7L WK Limited - 245/65/17 BFG Rugged Terrains, K&N 77 CAI
BEFORE K&N
City: 12.3 w/ lead foot, 12.8 babyin' it
Hwy: 75+ mph= 14.8, 65-70 mph= 15.0, 55-60 mph= 15.4

AFTER K&N
City: 13.9 w/ lead foot, 14.4 babyin' it
Hwy: 75+ mph= 15.9, 65-70 mph= 16.8, 55-60 mph= 18.2

With the K&N installed, there's a significant increase in throttle response and the jeep just sounds better all around.

How do you like the rugged terrains? Worth the big money?

I love them! I had Goodyear Forteras that were snow rated before I got the BFG's and they honestly sucked in the snow. The Rugged Terrains clean themselves much better than the All-Terrains if you get into the mud. I took a road trip up to Michigan the week of Thanksgiving and we had 32" of snow. I have no complaints for how they preformed in the snow. They've been very quiet so far. I have just over 9,000 miles on them, I've wheeled them 6 times and they still look new. They're the best tires I've ever owned honestly. I want to try some BFG MT's but I've heard they don't wear as well as these and that if you don't rotate them, they get loud. I'm not sure about the MT's though.

Sorry for the novel, but in my opinion yes the Rugged Terrains are worth the little extra money. I have 245/65/17's and got all 4 for $602.81 which is pretty good compared to the Forteras which were going to be upwards of $750. I love them. I haven't seen many people with them. I see ALOT of Goodyear Duratracs and BFG MT's. I recommended them to anyone lookin. For a more aggressive off-road tire that's quiet and performs well in and off the pavement. It's definitely not a mud tire but it gets the job done, that's for sure! Hope this helped!
