5.7L

Yea I consistently get 16 around town (mainly country roads, but hilly) and 19-20 on the highway doing 70. All with no mods except a drop in K&N.

Re: Official post your mpg's.

City: 17-18
Hwy: 21ish

From Knoxville, TN to Nashville, TN I averaged a little over 22 mpg. Made it to Nashville, drove all over on a weekend vacation and made it almost back to Knoxville on the tank of gas I departed on the trip with.

5.7 with 93 octane. Aftermarket exhaust, drop in K&N and light right foot

2008 3.7L with FRP throttle body and K&N CAI.
City - 16-17mpg
Highway - 21-22mpg

I have slightly oversized tires, 8.5%, 255-70/18 versus 245-65/17, and after correcting for the increase tire diameter I actually noticed a minor increase in mileage.

Best mileage I've ever seen was 24mpg going 55MPH on Route 2 from Toledo to Cleveland.

What do you mean correcting for the increase size diameter? Because I have slightly bigger tires than stock and my MPGs dropped big time

On topic. Of late since I got back to school, a lot of stop and go and hills, I'm getting about 11.5 mpg. On my trips home (averaging about 65 mph with a few stops) I average about 16. And I have a little bit bigger tires. No Mods, just took the rack off the top

When my Jeep says I've driven 100 miles, I've actually driven 108.5 miles since the circumference of the tire is greater. So multiply my miles traveled by 1.085, divide by gallons to fill up, you get the idea

Don't you also have a lift? I'm all stock suspension minus slightly larger tires.

Re: Official post your mpg's.

Stop and go will kill any sort of mpg. If you're in traffic try staying in first gear so you're not shifting back and forth. As long as you don't get going very fast.

Oh ok. I just used to use a website that kept track of the miles you went and then updated fill ups and such.

And no lift or anything. The slightly bigger tires is literally the only mod I've done. My tires are just taller so I think it looks like it a bit.
