oil catch can

could some one tell me if a 4.7l would need a oil catch can or is it for the bigger engines?

It doesn't really need one like the Hemi's do, but, you can only benefit from having one. I know a lot of people who put them in their cars over here and most of their engines are in the 1.6ltr to 2ltr range.
