Performance and Fuel Economy of K & N 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake on 3.7l Laredo

Has anyone added the 57 Series FIPK K and N Cold Air Intake to their 3.7l Grand Cherokee? If so, what was the horsepower gain, and fuel economy gain? Was the horsepower gain enough to notice?

Minimal on both, some will say they notice the power. It's mainly placebo effect. I have a hemi with both a cat-back and afe intake. Together I feel they are mildly noticeable. Programmer will make the biggest effect to both hp and mpg.

Thanks, that's kind of what I figured it would be like.

The real plus is sound. Jeep sounds real mean afterwards.

Well I don't have personal experience with that motor, but my 3.8 grand prix used to sound real nice. So yeah even for the 3.7. I'm sure you could hear some sound clips on YouTube and that others will chime in soon and confirm that it sounds nice.
