It would depend if you got a long block or a short block, but if it where me I would have it all done by 1 company so it will be matched and balanced, therefore I'd go long block! You could probably fine a nice used one on LXForums.

The most basic support to make it work N/A. Your going to need the following.

- Injectors
- Tune

To get the most out of it.

- Injectors
- Tune
- 6.1 intake manifold
- 6.1 exhaust manifolds or LT's
(assuming you use Eagle or Apache heads they will bolt right up to the 6.1 intake/exhaust mani's) so no adapters needed. Just make sure they are machined to match the block (combustion chamber bore)!
- EGR block-off plate for your 5.7 block (depends on heads 6.1 heads do not need this)

No matter what you do get a catch-can!

There are lots of ways to do it and things that are needed would change as you change parts but that is the basics.

For that you will have to do your homework.

Find a excellent company that you feel great about and work with them.

The cost will depend on a lot of things

Forged?
H or I beams?
Manufacturer of parts?
Machining of parts?
Balancing of parts?
Is it all a working/proven combo?
Bullet-proof/Nuke-proof/It will work combo?

6-8-12K not installed

It all depends on your choices, call up some companies and have a chat with them and do your homework as it is the heart of your Jeep and with a crap setup you will have a excellent looking yard ornament!
