Thumbs up Re: Rep your oil and filter!

Its good to see that everybody has something to say about their oil and filter!

I know i learned something new! to say the least ive never heard of a quick drain valve.. and for the price of an oil change? (correct me with im wrong) but count me in! ill be ordering one today!

I also use something called a "filter mag" on my oil filters. idk if anyone else has heard of these, but i read awesome things about them, so ive been running one since about 12000 miles ago.
you guys should look into them!

Same here with the skid plate! its a pain when i gets all over my drive way. i usually have to get a pressure washer and spray the skid plate and driveway after my oil changes... pain in the ass!

Re: Rep your oil and filter!

I will usually buy whatever synthetic oil and filter are on sale at advance auto parts. Will change it every 6000-6500 miles.

I got mine off Ebay Fumoto P/N: F-106N (N for nipple barb to be used with vinyl tubing) for like $30. The non-nipple model is F-106, for a few bucks less. Tubing can be found at any hardware store. I think I'm using 3/8" ID.

I've seen filter Filter Mags, but couldn't I just get some long magnets and stick them around the filter to save the cash?
