I have been working with the SCT dealer, HemiFever@aol.com for about a month now. Great guy!! Very helpful!!

For us 3.7L Guys/Gals it will run you $265, since they don't make cams or heads, etc for our jeeps. Contact him for more info.
**Programmer also works as a diagnostic code reader.

SO FAR
I'm running just the 87 octane tune and the Jeep shifts smoothly, downshifts correctly for power!, and I can only assume it will improve gas mileage when I feather it around town. Hit 115mph in no time... LOL

and this is only the 87 tune! Just put $40 in the tank last night so gotta wait til its gone before i can run the 93 octane!! CANT WAIT!

Contact HemiFever@aol.com. GREAT GUY

WK and XK have the same exact engine build.

My concern isn't the engine, I know they all use the 3.7 and the headers will bolt up and flow well.

BUT the key thing Im looking at with all these is the alignment/clearances. If the frame and component layout aren't identical between platforms (which they arent) we could have clearance/alignment issues making custom fab necessary ($$$) to get them to work.

Im sure theyll functionally work, Im just looking out for everyone so no one thinks they're just going to bolt right up to stock cats, may not be that easy so lets find out :)

Call back JeepinByAl's and ask if they have actually, literally test fitted them on a '05 JGC.

JBA said its possible that someone, a random shop like Al's, may have already test fitted them on aJGC and they just havent told JBA. If they have they need to tell JBA so they can update their database.

ANd post up that guys build thread if you can find it!!

Called JeepinbyAl and they said several guys had been using the headers for the liberty on the GC's and Commanders with success. I assume they had to get some custom exhaust work done for the y-pipe to bolt up correctly, but he said THEY WORK!

I may try going with summit racing tho, Jeepin By Al is charging ~$500 for the headers with shipping, and if they dont work its a 20% restocking fee, as long as they are good condition.

Yeaahhhh boy!

Haha, yes it is, thanks bro! Yeah, I've got a white 05 WK, I really need to get some pictures up. For this tune, do you think a high flow filter would give the same effect as a CAI? Im re-doing my exhaust before the tune, and am trying to keep the cost as far down as I can. I head they add almost the same HP/Performance, but wanted to get some Jeepers opinions.

I have ordered a Fastman and a K&N CAI now I'm contacting Hemifever to purchase the 3.7 tuner.

I just ordered the SCT Tuner. I'll give my review once I'm tuned.

#128 ·
if you can run you jeep for a little while with just the tb and cai...then add the tuner to see the differences...

#129 ·
I will. I'll have videos and everything.

Here it is. I'm going to wait a while. Still waiting on the Fastman. Lots of videos coming soon.

I'm actually online now trying to figure out if I'm benefiting from this tune. I kinda installed the K&N, Fastman, and SCT at the same time. I do know that with the combo of all 3, power is outstanding for a 3.7 and heavy 32" tires and a ~3.5 inch lift.

Uphill travel
Acceleration
Gas mileage

I was thinking about putting my stock tune back in the PCM to see how much of a difference the 93 tune made. And then go to Mid grade 89 after that.

Flyn Ryan, what are your thoughts on running a higher octane fuel? What do you see in the long run? Issues maybe?

I remember what you said about data logging and I'm looking into it. Also, Sean said he can adjust the fan settings so I might purchase the 180 t-stat. I just want to get down to the bottom of 87 89 and 93.

What about running a higher octane fuel? If Sean sends you a 93 octane tune, you better make damn sure that you are running 93. You run whatever octane he suggests, or higher. Failure to do so may lead to spark knock, which if left unchecked will trash a motor before long. Depending on how aggressive his spark map is, with your lift and big tires you may want to run a higher octane than he suggests just as added insurance.

I dont mess around with tuning for economy. Running optimal AFRs and timing will see improved fuel economy in itself.

I'm running 93. Lol. The larger tires only threw off the shift points. I don't see how they could aid in spark knock.

I have three tunes. 87 89 & 93. I was thinking about switching 89. But first, I wanted to go back stock to see if the tune makes a difference.

I will say, like I've said already, the 3 performance mods have made an outstanding difference for my 3.7 with 32" tires. I could only imaging how the torque would feel if suspension and tires were stock with these 3 performance mods.

The lift and 32" tires made me sluggish but after the 3 performance mods, my performance is probably 2 times better than that of a stock 3.7 WK.

^^^That means if you have a completely stock WK, line up next to my 3.5 inch lift WK with 32" mud tires and you'll be seeing and hearing rocks on your windshield that my tires throw behind me.
