Re: Simple Cam Question

On the HEMI, you can swap the cam without pulling the heads or using magnets, etc. Pull the rocker arms, spin the cam a couple times before removing and you'll be fine. I had a car sit overnight without a cam and the lifters didn't drop.

Yeah you don't have to worry about the lifters dropping with the Hemi, can't say on a 4.7.

yes...you need the wedge tool for the 4.7 cams. airram.com will lend you the tool if your mechanic doesnt have it....
