Hi all,
I am considering replacing spark plugs (original) on my 06 4.7 w/80K miles. I know they are WAY overdue but it’s running fine and MPGs are ~17.5 with exhaust/tuner and air mods. My question is... should I?? And if so any advice on spark plug type/brand and tips on removal?

yes they need to be changed and only use stock champion plugs

Just a hunch but my guess is your going to notice a slight difference after changing those plugs out.

Be happy you dont own a late model 4.7 with 16 plugs... the bottom 8 suck to change

Yes they do suck, BUT they are a 100k iridium (iirc) plug by the exhaust. So its really not that bad.

rockauto.com has the same plugs for $1.79 each, cheap shipping too (click on pic (skinny one on left) below)
after reading the posts about plugs, I realized that I have almost 80k miles and i have NEVER changed mine :-o
so I did today, here are my old ones
