Spark plug change?

Hi all,
I am considering replacing spark plugs (original) on my 06 4.7 w/80K miles. I know they are WAY overdue but itís running fine and MPGs are ~17.5 with exhaust/tuner and air mods. My question is... should I?? And if so any advice on spark plug type/brand and tips on removal?
thanks!

Re: Spark plug change?

Yup they're due at 30,000 mile intervals and use champion copper core plugs gapped to .040

Just a hunch but my guess is your going to notice a slight difference after changing those plugs out.

Re: Spark plug change?

Sparkplugs.com has the RC12MCC4 plugs for $2.89/each. $34 total shipped to my door. Seems like a good deal. These are the correct ones, right?

Yes they do suck, BUT they are a 100k iridium (iirc) plug by the exhaust. So its really not that bad.
