It really picks up around 2500 and pulls like crazy. The downfall is the launch, I've tried everything from break loading to turning off the ESP to keeping tow/haul on but I can't get rid of the launch lag. The tune definitely helps, but I think this transmission is the limiting factor. I really believe I'm outputting stock srt8 power with all the mods but its just not translating to ETs with the 545RFE. I've done all I can do without voiding the extended warranty. Maybe in a few years I'll get the Spartan cam with MDS friendly tuning, that would almost definitely get me to break into the high 13s... One day.
How are you beating stock srt8 levels without a cam? Been on a dyno? Im not trying to call you out just curious.

"I really believe" haha, no actual facts or data, you got me there. But if you're offering me a free dyno run somewhere I'd be more than happy to make the drive! From the research I've done, the 2010 wk runs a 15.4 stock. I've gotten a best of 14.14 at the Lebanon valley dragway near Albany NY. A significant drop from the projected 15.4 But yes, I'm making unfounded statements because... Optimism? I'll take it back, OK? : D I understand, you've done stupid amounts of work to your rig and you actually DO eat stock SRTs (right?). You're punched out to 392?

Im not saying that either. Was just honestly curious and no need to be so defensive. Its cool to see how close you are to the high 13s with our heavy bricks without really digging into the engine.

I'm the guy with the punched out 392. Our rigs run mid 14's stock. If your running low 14's that's a good improvement but it's not near SRT numbers low 13's. The 545 has about the same drivetrain loss as the nag1s. Plus you've got limited slip diffs. I think you've got a ways to go before you hit srt power levels

Actually you guys are running mid 15's stock. And the 545 stock has a high drive line loss where as the nag is around 17%dl. The 545 is around 20%

No we run mid 14's. The 545's loss is 18%. A tighter TC will lower that

Look bud I'm not gonna argue with you over this. I know what my car ran with me behind the wheel. Most "magazines" say the srt runs mid to high 13's but most crack of high 12 et's stock.

Well if I didn't launch it I'd run mid 13's too lol. Plus I know I'm near stock hemi territory from what I've personally seen them run. Maybe your track isn't a true 1/4 mile. I know I'm also trapping the same speeds as a stock hemi even tho I'm .2 off the time. Can't argue track data I've seen and ran. And it's with in range of the mags.

Re: SRT exhaust manifold install today!

***Important correction***
The 2010 5.7 does NOT have EGR. I was picking the brain of the head tech at the stealership today and he showed me the spot where the egr valve would be, there is even a port in the head for it but no valve! Knowing this, I don't have the heart to tell my exhaust guy we ground in the port for nothing... Maybe long tubes would have been OK. Hindsight is a mother

Thought that was pretty common knowledge? Started in 2009 on.

Yeah I thought so too... The eagle motors don't have EGR. Besides I don't see how it would affect you doing long tubes anyways
