Excellent!

Do you still have spare tire mounted? I can't tell from the picture or Video.

The headers are from the Jeep SRT from 06-10. And what he has are the SRT Mid-Pipes from an 06-10 Jeep SRT. His came with Catalytic Converters.

So just to be clear they're not SRT headers, they're SRT stock exhaust manifolds?

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

I just always considered headers to be something that people buy to replace their stock manifolds. I just wanted to be sure. I have been considering doing the SRT manifolds on mine, I have an exhaust leak, So rather than buying 5.7L parts, I might buy 6.1L parts, I was always concerned with what gasket to use, But now that I see that you can use 5.7L gaskets there is nothing holding me back.

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

I am running the stock SRT manifolds which are essentially shorty headers. In fact unless you plan on running long tubes I suggest going this route as its the best bang for your buck and they flow really well.

If you do the stock srt manifolds/headers and you keep the 5.7L midpipes you will need to use a reducer and you will also need to shorten your mids a little bit. As the srt exhaust manifolds/headers are longer and the diameter is .25" wider. As for the 5.7L gasket I used that as I opted to keep my EGR which in turn you will need to make a notch in the SRT exhaust manifold. My manifolds are also touching my transmission bell housing. So in the future I may shave a little bit off them. 555CTSV has a good post about how he did his headers also. I also suggest reading up on the LX forums as a lot of guys run this set up on their R/T's

Picture of the EGR notch someone made

The spare is removed. The piping runs where the spare use to be.
