Don't go out of your way to get anything special. I'm just curious to see how it'd mate up with the stock 5.7 exhaust piping locations. I have a Gibson catback so I just need headers and mid pipes. I'd prefer a 100% bolt-on solution but haven't found anything yet.

Well the mids follow the same exact path the 5.7 ones do. They are a little larger but you don't have to dent the tranny pan or anything. The only thing that I did recently was use some washers to lower the cross member about 1/8 of an inch to reduce some vibrations from the SRT mids because it was touching it. I am also getting some slight rubbing on the bell housing of the tranny on the passenger side header. Nothing major just after everything heats up at low rpm you can feel a little vibration.

Oh cool. I'd like some AR headers but they're crazy expensive and don't bolt right on. The SRT8 ones sound like a better option. They're still a large improvement over the 5.7 log manifolds. I wonder how many HP they're good for on a 5.7? Did you have the exhaust on before the headers? If so, did the headers change the sound any?

Did you fix the CEL issue? Do you plan to fix the bell housing vibration or are you just going to live with it?

So far the CEL hasn't come on(keeping my fingers crossed)! As for the exhaust that is on now it was put on after my headers and mids because it was custom made for an SRT and I wanted something that didnt require too many modifications on my end. Eventually I will trim/grind a little bit off the bell housing but its really not bad. There is very limited space and I dont want to pull the headers off. So when I eventually move to ported eagle heads I will probably do the trimming then as it will be easier to detach the headers at the mid pipes and pull them off with the heads.

As for HP they got to be a big improvement over those stock logs

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

Its running great! It made the cross country trek back to VA with 0 problems. I am settling in and spending time with the family now that I am out of the USMC. Soon I should have the new intake manifold in with that custom tune. *Crosses fingers* I will update you all when I do! Btw the diablo trinity is awesome
