Thanks everyone! I am back in VA now so got to do emissions real quick and register my vehicle for Virginia then the intake mani is going on. ON a side note I see you are a mod Paul, do you mind moving this to the WK section now?

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

I'm having the toughest time finding the SRT8 manifolds, is there a good place online to get everything i need? I can find the gaskets like crazy, but only found 1 guy selling his used manifolds he already cut a hole in and then tried to patch, but ruined them.
If I can add the manifolds, do I need the SRT8 mids or could I have them made with a hi-flow cat? I would still like to run the Magnaflow cat-back. I've got an exhaust guy, but I'd like to know what's best from the JEEP guys! What kind of issues can I expect and can I fix them with a Predator? I do not need to pass emissions testing where I'm at, but don't want to throw a ton of codes.

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

You can find them on the LX Forums or the Red Site. That's where I got mine.

Only experience I know is to get the SRT Mid-Pipes because they blt up the the SRT Headers. I wanted a single exhaust, not a dual so it looks stock. If that's what you want you need to go to a Exhaust Shop and get them to make you a Y-Pipe to so it's a 2:1. So the Y-Pipe will connect from the Mid-Pipe to your Magnaflow Exhaust. But it's custom so it will be kind of pricey.

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

I've got a buddy that has a buddy that runs an exhaust shop. Problem is they have only ever worked with everyone's Wranglers. So when I asked about it, I got a real quick response about 'figuring it out'. Well, not to step on toes, but that's not what I want. I want to take him the manifolds, gaskets, mids, & whatever else, then have it fit. I have this underlying feeling that they don't research online much to know these tricks. Even with a custom y-pipe, can I retain my skid plates?

Not to sound dumb, but what's the 'Red Site'. Are the 6.1 manifolds the same across all Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep or are the Jeeps a bit different since there is extra clearance.

Re: SRT Headers + Mid pipes + custom cat back dual exhaust = DONE

the 6.1 Manifolds fit out 5.7 Engines. There is more flow on the manifolds. IF you look are you stock ones, they restrict a lot of exhaust from coming out. The 6.1 Mani's will free up your 5.7. They will bolt up. But you might have to shave a bit offf on the Manifold or your EGR Valve. IF you don't wantyour EGR Valve then you should get a CMR Tune to Delete it and you can get a Blockoff Plate for it.
